The Tree of Destiny is more than a tree,
It’s you; it’s me, everything in between,
It’s all your dreams that drifted away,
It’s all the sayings you used to say.

It’s the hope of your heart,
The start of your mind. . .
It’s the climb of a lifetime.

It’s all the tears that ran down your cheeks;
It’s the secrets that lie in the highest peaks,
It angers the scientists who continue to seek.

It’s the darkest times and the brightest vines,
It’s the special shining light in our eyes,
It is the days we’ve watched go by. . .
It’s you, it’s me,
It’s everything that vision can and can’t see.
But most importantly, it’s what you want it to be.
